Lock down extended, will have to start raiding my freezer meals next week . Needs clearing anyway. Of to work on the panel again, thing is I don't feel very lady like doing this sort of thing. Still plenty of girls do its just its a hang over from the old me, thinking its the lack of going out dressed up-----------

You can still do what you enjoy in your spare time Davina.  Time to accumulate some "work" clothes more befitting a woman mechanic!!

Steph its not been warm enough yet!!! and the sparks burn---- Cant decide whether to take a day of and do some house work , think its 9 days straight been working on van/unit  (lost track!)  and fed up rubbing filler and stripping paint from gutters and door shuts . Need the exercise though .

Got my backside in gear and did a lot , front panel "finished" (needs a fine sand and double check for pin holes ) passenger side door frame and wheel arch taken back to bare and primed. 
Sun is back out today, have the windows open. Yesterday needed the heater on!!!

Overslept big time again!! Never mind not got a bus to catch. Weird dream, the straight bit of road out of village was closed for drag racing. Seeing folk not seen for years but had forgotten to put wig on!! Then was going to get my Dodge Challenger and race it, not had that for 34 years----------
Scrambles the brain waking up from stuff like this, waiting for it to sort itself out then back to rubbing filler down

Not that I fancy mingling but its the necessary supermarket grocery shop today, have a list from mum as well. Lets see if they have caught up with stock!!

Daft in't it , super market has loads of food on its sell by date reduced. Fresh 2 kilo chicken for £2 , a shelf full. Got some stuff for freezer but trouble is a lot of stuff not suitable for freezing . What a waste, still cant find flour!!!

Call from BFF yesterday (she needs wiper blades!) , you want to come for a cup of tea -----errrr NO . According to her this C19 is a global conspiracy to control our lives, I know she lives with the fairies  but really. The ex is treating C19 patients, think its 8 in her small cottage hospital.
Blue skies, 19C so a nice day again. 9.20 am  so  must rush as have to pick up mums bread and paper from shop.

defiantly, have 2 cab doors to strip paint from inside and the grill left. Took 2 hrs to do inside of engine lid-----compressor doesn't have enough cfm to keep up with air tools so have to wait.

Hi Davina, I haven't checked in for awhile, but just got caught up. I'm glad you get paid for your furloughs and that you have a good project to keep you busy. I loved your photos of the straightened up tools and bench grinder. The van is a much bigger project than I can imagine taking on! Good on you. Stay healthy
