Got on well today but its taking ages to clean all the parts going back on van, 2 lots of over spray and the 90s repaint where nothing was removed or masked mean having to pick paint of bolts, washers and out of crosshead screws. Side door fitted and lined up ,started to polish back paint .
My eldest lad is going to drop off a cheese and jalapeño sourdough loaf he has made and some of his sourdough starter.

Made another loaf and turned out fine, better than last one. Eldest came over and brought bread and starter, hard not to be able to give a hug but as he has to work in random houses it was better to be safe.
  Nearly got one side of panel van buffed, got cramp in fingers from rubbing and holding block and wrist sore so see how I get on tomorrow.

Well after 4 days wet flatting and polishing the new paint on panel van totally shattered. Lousy nights sleep as well, to hot and some totally weird dreams again. Posted on FB think I am coming down with furloughitis , its more like ground hog day------
Anyway its Wed so food shop for myself and mum, braving the big supermarket today as run out of spices and chapatti  flour . Called in on mum to pick up here shopping list and my sister turned up at same time so that was nice , not seen her for ages and they are all well . Nieces laundry business has took a hit, she does lots of B&B and hotel washes and of course they have all been closed.

TBH going to work was groundhog day as well. Just a bit over tired but had a good night sleep, just a duvet cover as it was soooooo hot . All windows open in flat and its still 20C . Hot sunny days for rest of week and into next.

Picked up my new patches from chemist , went in shop next door and they had wholemeal and white bread flour so got both . They only had one of each as well.
Have been fitting doors up on van, pattern door handles not moving far enough to work latch by a few MM so need to make some spacer washers. (censored rant about pattern parts ) well at least I have the skills to do it she said putting down her trumpet!! Its taken me ages to fit glass and stuff getting it all just so.

Guess I picked the wrong day to give up sniffing glue !! (you all know the film) sticking seals and stuff to cab doors.
Made 2 loaves , tried 2 different ways of baking so know what I will do for next ones. As the oven was on did some Devonshire split scones as well .

Just need to find perfect oven temp now as slightly over done on crust and middle just right.
 Well its going to be hot today as high as 27C possible , Youngest lad is coming to unit this morning to fit new clutch to his bike .
Seriously starting diet (I know how many times ) but putting LBs on again . Need some enthusiasm in my life !!! It will help when panel van is finished (bit of a slog at moment) and I can start on hot rod .

Yes Maddie I enjoy cooking WAY to much, trouble is there's only me to feed!! Its my youngest grand daughters 1st birthday today , only managed to see her 4 times so far due to everyone working and now with lockdown.

Just an observation but with all this racial stuff going on it struck me there are no African/American members on here. Just a passing thought and nothing meant by it.

Life's full of possibility's its just having the breaks to enable them to happen. Personally I have never had enough money to do things at all or properly . Even transitioning I have to wait for what I can get for "free" from NHS (I say free but have been paying for it all my working life 51 years) , I survive but that's about it.
