TBH I find things happen at the right time, like being on furlough so my panel van is getting done. On that note have another 3 weeks off !!!

Well its turned cold wet and very windy after that heat wave 15C today brrrrrrrr. Shock to the system after the 28C last weekend . Bonus is much better sleep. Layered up again to work on van, repairing original dash top that was very rusted out using parts from a later style. Lots of panel beating due to totally different shape up to vents , bit that fits to screen is the same .
Made a loaf to sit over night and it didn't rise, will see if it works by tonight as think it was a bit cold.
Got my blood test results , another duff E reading ? very low and not making sense as still on high dose patches . Had this before with same reading then next one was back to "normal" high. Will see what GIC say on 18th.

Well the loaf came out great, best yet!! Decided to plat it and that left a nice open pattern on top. Made pancakes with the sourdough "waste" and as my carrots have stared to go bad will be making a sourdough carrot cake tomorrow.

Just came to me (okay slow brain) but the ex was speaking to me normally , have seen her a few times this last week sorting my lads bike out as he still lives with her. Its only taken her 3 years!!!
Woke up late , only myself to please so that's fine just wont get as much done as I wanted (9.35 already) . Getting towards a few big jobs on van I have been putting off, still they wont do themselves .

My GIC appointment will be by video link, hope they can sort my 2 signatures needed to go on surgery list. Looks like its going to add another years wait , getting me down now. Running out of money to buy bits for panel van, missing my friends just a touch of the lock down blues . Now where's my guitar and harmonica ?

Summer has started, winter weathers here!! cool wet and windy again. Need to get myself sorted out (I know keep saying this) but my brain is addled , feeling tired after a good nights sleep and lack of "bothered" . Lost my way transitioning ,feel in limbo again and as much as I like living on my own I don't like living on my own .
No good wallowing in self pity , things to do
(I am okay just a bit fed up )

I'm telling myself that there is someone out there who is always just a third wheel, as I had often been during those years. And maybe those three wheels would like a 4th to make a fun set.

Not really as engine is "hopped up" a bit, still no ball of fire though . Fitted dash and started sorting electrics for aux battery , gave up as brain not working today.

Saw the lad in flat next door tonight, first day back to work after his Covid . His voice hasn't come back yet and he said totally knackered after work (parcel delivery driver) . Anyway said about needing a GRC (in working clothes) not passing well and he said when I am dressed up I pass no problem . That cheered me up !!
Still having trouble concentrating/ addled brain, trying to tidy up wiring on panel van behind dash and make aux fuse/relay board and its doing my head in. Now that's something I have no trouble with normally but cant think straight, not helped by the fact having to work from 2 wiring diagrams and having to put on reading glasses to see very small letters for colour codes using a different later guide.

Ending up with excess sourdough starter I made some blueberry muffins with a crumble topping , bit over done on outside . Set temp to recipe but its a fan oven , still taste okay though. My eldest lad is 34 tomorrow , hope we can get together soon .

Well that was short, video call for GIC. Still sorted stuff out that I and they need to do, as every thing else the surgery list is on hold so will be about a year from getting signatures to GRS once they restart. He said he would put me forward to video voice coaching as well . Leaving patches as is due to low reading last test, he will chase up on electrolysis funding as well as not received anything from local NHS yet.

I don't know if you're aware, and I'm not sure whether you are NHS or private, but it may be possible for you to self-refer for NHS vocal therapy even if it is considered secondary care. It certainly is for those of us in Cardiff or the Vale of Glamorgan. They will do it by video link as well!

I'm going to be waiting a long time still to be seen by the GIC, but the wait shouldn't be nearly as long for the vocal therapy. Of course, it will be longer than they told me in January (it already has been) but that's because of Covid 19. They're getting back on the horse now! They originally told me two to four months. - E

I could have had lessons before but it meant traveling to Nottingham every time, well something good has come from this lockdown as they didnt have the option for video calls before
