Well its beyond me, this lap top loses the "remembered " passwords every time I shut it down as well I have to keep logging into my Microsoft ac and one link. Cant find anything in settings to fix it , this is only since the windows 10 upgrade------
 Put a muscle out in my back/right hip area  , its one that plays up from old damage. Lifting and twisting on Sun putting panels in place by myself on the rod is what did it. Better this morning .
 Sept weather is here, cold in morning and sweating in afternoon!! Temp all over the place like 16C the other day and 22C today , at least its mostly dry.
Time to go and weld in the new floor pans I made yesterday on the Austin , have a good day folks XXXX

Left the laptop in sleep mode, still lost all info AND had to log in on one drive . Any computer wizzes out there??

Have a flat inspection in about 1/2 hr , good reason to tidy up like the pile of old mail and things  that get left!!
  Lap top did another big update , will see if thats fixed stuff or made it worse-----
Must go and wash up the breakfast stuff.

That will teach me to read all the letter, should have replied that it was okay for flat insp . Rang them up and they said all insp have been cancelled , at least flats tidy!!

Dear Davina:
I am so sorry to read that your hand is still causing you problems.   
Is it the same hand that was injured last year by the employee at the company you work for???

Yes, its never healed but when we moved premises the test equipment is old and lacking shaker plates so have to do it by hand and its stressed my wrist/hand . Think it might have done some more damage than before as its not got any better yet. Might be off work till I retire in 7 months.

Took mums car to unit to fit new exhaust, when I took it back there was a note on door . She had gone to local fruit farm with my sister for a coffee in there café so called in on way back home, nice to see sister, her hubby and his mum. Stopped for a brew and natter.

Must get my mum to stop introducing me as "this is my son/daughter" , the lady that was with my sister turned to her and said " so this is your sister" . See folk are great !!

Still here dears, life stumbles on. Need some time off the hot rod to refresh I think , just have to get some enthusiasm back as its turned into a "job" . Might have sold the race car so giving it a sort out , getting puncture in slick fixed, charging battery   and a clean from 4 years of dust.
Missing my friends, staying "safe" though as I do suffer from slight asthma/allergy that affects my chest and makes it go "tight" . All the grinding and welding fumes have not helped .
 Getting bored with every thing , same old I suppose so might try making some more clocks / lights and things

Dear Davina:
Hang in there Davina, it is quite an unwelcome change when enthusiasm, passion and a hobby turns into hard work, and a job to be done.

I understand about missing the social times with friends... the good news is that in this day and age we have the internet, email, facetime, etc which allows us to stay in touch and to keep ourselves occupied in a positive and encouraging way.    Certainly being able to be on the Forums here is wonderful thing that allows us to "be in communication" with like-minded friends and members here.

Take care of yourself, I hope that you are careful and let your hand and wrist to heal.

Got punctured slick sorted for race car, well good enough to move it. Battery has charged up , just need to see if buyer comes through . That geed me up so managed to sort some more on hot rod after a good clean up in unit .
 Cooking a bread pudding from a failed to rise loaf , think it was duff yeast .

got my continuation sick note for another month , Doc wanted to see me and she came out to the car, she is going to arrange a specialist physio to see if they can help. Have to go for X ray next week.
So stayed in today after docs, made a tomato and onion curry thats more like a relish and to use up some yogurt a pea and potato curry

No internet for 2 days, left laptop on all week as fed up keep logging into stuff to get it to work. Any way it turned itself off due to low battery and when I restarted the net now works------------

Dear Davina:
Without internet, and without the forums....  terrible punishment for sure.
Many times when things act up with your computer/internet .... the first thing to try is to completely Power Down your computer.  Also disconnecting the power to the internet Modem for a few minutes is a good thing to do as well. 
 
Completely rebooting both of those will many times solve internet connection issues.

Have a few days rest from working on hot rod, made some coat racks yesterday using VW engine lid handles and another using early beetle inner door handles. Coffee/side table made from a rank zerox tray . Now just need to take pics and post to try and sell, this mornings job as have a phone call from social this afternoon.

I am convinced that Microsoft forces PC’s to start acting up when they want you to do a restart for an security update lol. I have my laptop in hibernation when not in use for quick access and keeping all my apps running. Then I get frozen screens and weird activity then do a restart and surprise surprise it does an update, alternatively, it is a memory leak in the OS or large app

Yes, I used to get a low battery warning and thats vanished so if I forget to plug in it suddenly turns off even if bat shows charge.
Weathers turned after a nice Indian summer, wet and windy today with temps in mid teens C with a forecast of MINUS temps by the weekend!! Trees are turning as well now so autumn is finally here. Winter draws on as they say , make mine thermal!!

Well its 9.15 am , just had my breakfast and a coffee and catching up . Made my flask and lunch to take to the unit but cant get motivated (again) as need to do some cutting and grinding. Made a VW barrel and piston lamp yesterday using a old floor lamp as a base , now its a table lamp. Hard bit is finding somewhere to sell, stuck some on EB but nothing going yet. Looks like my flat will be turning steam punk!!!
 Dave my 2nd cousin (where my unit is) has a glut of green tomatoes and I found a recipe for green tom cake , will give it a go. Time to put kettle on , its a2 cup morning!!
