So after starting the day feeling grot it all went rather well , see you can never tell . Had to turn heating on this morning, another mega electric bill coming then.
Doc is doing a phone "visit" on Wed to give me X Ray results on my wrist, what ever it is its still giving me grief.
Blue sky this morning, good breeze and chilly .

Said goodbye to an old friend today, race car SOLD !! took a hit on the price but at least its gone to a good home . Few more bits for the hot rod then-----------

Yes it has been sat in mums garage for last 4 years and I doubt if I would ever have raced it again, well the wig makes wearing a helmet awkward !!!!

Phone call from doc this morning with results of X ray, some separation of joints in wrist caused by damaged ligament and osteoporosis and wear to joints. Tell me something I don't already know!! Have an appointment with "specialist" at the end of Oct, whatever its still giving me grief.

Hi Davina, just catching up here. I also sold my racer in later August. There is a time for everything and then we need to move on. The hard thing is knowing when. I took a hit on mine too, not a good time to sell race hardware!

I hope the doctor can do something and you can find some relief.

I don't think they can do much , its mostly fine day to day as long as I look after it and don't overload it. Did my weekly food shop this morning with mum and aunty , treated myself to some rhubarb and ginger GIN !! and a tub of strawberry and cream ice cream . Well if I don't treat myself who will?

Hmmm... self-medication with "rhubarb an ginger GIN"

Is this wrist injury and issues that you continue to have with it a direct result of the work injury and tussle you had at your job with that manager that you had mentioned last year? If so, you should get continued treatment provided by you employer?

Wishing you well... I hope that you heal up soon. As you know the wrist is a complicated joint, kind of like the CV joint in your vehicles front end suspension and drive.

Flat inspection this morning, all fine . Had a black eyed bean curry cooking "oh that smells good" from Kate . Decided to stay in today , well its nearly midday and weather is rubbish being wet and windy. Have some chicken marinating for a Korma to cook this afternoon . Decided to freeze the rest of the fish curry I made as been eating it all week!! Time for some lunch and a bit of tv then back to cooking .

It was bright when I got up at 8am , hour later and its clouding over but still bright and breezy . A lot of rain over the weekend and it ran under the door to my unit so clean up yesterday morning, my cousin didn't turn his pump on over night. Cleaned the ground off as it had built up soil and weeds but need some sand bags to stop water running through door jamb.
Its getting up towards 3 years HRT with a slow/low dose start , still getting changes .Sense of smell getting better , had started to lose it after years of breathing in garage dust and rubbish. Skin a lot better but a bit dry still and the girls are still filling out very slowly . Eyes are defiantly darker , growing what hair I have out and its gone curly making me look like a clown !!! Looked at toppers ,not sure but will need a under wig "skull cap" to stop the grey showing soon .

Have a parcel coming this afternoon so decided its a day at home, using up some food before it is past it . Making a red pepper and tomato soup for lunch and a green pepper and cauliflower curry as have all ingredients apart from yogurt. Trip to shop in a bit then .

To late , it was tasty!! Got some new yeast and bread flour , made a white loaf to try it out. Came out fine so my failed attempts were down to duff yeast.
One downside of HRT is the atrophy in the male member muscle, find I have to dash for a wee or I cant hold it . Not incontinent as when I go its loads just when I need to go I need to go!!

More HRT down side, parcel that came is a 1M sheet metal folder. Very heavy , so much that had to get delivery driver to place it in hallway. Fun bit will be getting it in car to take to my unit!!

Cant believe its Thurs again already, weeks are flying by. Meeting mum and aunty again for an amble round food shop, just a few things this week like veg and salad .
Hurt my wrist lifting that folder, it said 20kilo on box and there was a second part. When it was assembled I lifted it on to a workmate (just !) . Making a stand from an old workmate so I dont need to lift it , its to long to fit in my vice anyways.
Raining a bit this morning but a glimpse of blue out the window , 16C predicted so a skirt will be fine . T shirt and fleece jacket will do .
Need to order some bits for the hot rod, fuel tank, air tank , sheet steel and welding gas . There goes the race car money-------
