My mums at it again, we met Mrs C that I have known for 40+ years but not seen for the last 16 odd years. So mum said this is that used to be and Mrs C said I would never have guessed , suppose that was a win.

Had a good day yesterday , made up new rear section of chassis and sorted out how to attach tow bar mount . Spicy prawns for tea with mango yogurt for afters and later a G&T .

This morning I was stood waiting to give my cousin some money for steel he had got for me from factors, he had a lady sorting out her bill (he does car repairs) . She said looking at me (in my dirty work gear, thick coat , no make up and working wig ) do you want to see this LADY first . Another win!!
Battery has died on laptop, not expensive but cant find matching numbers . Model number not matching as well, its an HP laptop but it doesn't have a type name on it .

Found the right model number and have ordered a battery . Still a pain having to log into Microsoft a/c every time I turn it on-------

Have to go into work next Friday for a "well being" meeting ( a load of ******) , will be getting ***** from me !!! 
 Stuck in this morning waiting for my electric meter to be changed any time from 8 till 12 they said-----
New battery was delivered for lap top, missed phone call from my door bell (probably grinding)!! Spoke to delivery man as he tried to phone me, Very bad English and he said left parcel with neighbour and card left. Well cant find a card and dont know which neighbour , bugger. Will have a look today.
Wrist giving me grief again, had to use tin snips yesterday and its to much strain. Cant do it left handed .
Flu jab yesterday morning, very quick as they have a tent set up and 2 nurses working

So did the parcel tracker and it said will be delivered today!! Came about 1/2 hour ago. Meter man came , cant do it as wrong tariff . Have eco7 meter but no storage heaters, nothing connected. Told him I have been asking to have meter changed for the last 2+ years but got the brush off every time . Yup that's about right and also got told cant have a smart meter , no thats incorrect he said. Waiting for rearranged date now.
 Still got the food shop done , lamb curry tonight.

Friday morning again already , lethargic after a disturbed sleep. Woken by dream but cant remember what it was at 5am then never went back to sleep properly ,brain frazzled now!!! Needs a reboot--------

Dear Davina:
I don't know about brain reboots .... but with a computer, you just unplug the computer from the AC Power for 5 minutes and plug it back in and turn it back on....   
Surely that can not be done with a brain.   Perhaps a good night's uninterrupted sleep will do the trick.

I was okay once I got to my unit,  pleased with the work on rod as it all went well. Crashed out after eating my tea though for 10 or 15 mins !!! No alcohol last night and slept fine. Sharp pain in my left boob and went very firm last night , fine this morning , right one tender now.
  Its a bit grey this morning, drizzle and showers with a high of 12C forecast today . Cold and damp in my unit now, welding repairs to rear wheel tub this morning and then fixing it in .More metal fab work then , time to get creative.

Doc renewed my sick note for TWO months , going to cancel my welfare meeting at work as no point till I see specialist next week . Day at home as have a phone call from welfare lunch time. Catch up on stuff day--------

Just blown most of the money I got from selling race car on air ride kit for the hot rod , you only live once.

Hi Davina, I like hearing about and sometimes seeing what you make with old car parts. Nice creative activity!

I have a sculpture made by my retired plumber uncle from old plumbing parts. He made a full-on business out of it and had a gallery for a few years. This one is a cross country skier because he took me skiing to the backwoods of Wisconsin when I was in college.

Scrap yard today, got a fuel filler flap thats a flush fit and push to open . They don't allow angle grinders in the yard so had to hammer and chisel it out, good job modern cars are made of very thin steel!! Found 2 steel wheels for front as well but nothing else I was after.
Air ride kit came this morning as well, going to be a busy girl.
 Off to work tomorrow for meeting, that's full Davina mode then!! Have a packed few days next week, Tues the Doc wants me to meet some students (trainee docs?) for a Q&A session ,Hospital on Wed and new electric meter on Thurs so no hot rod time for a few days.

Decided to make a coconut cake to take into work, lime drizzle topping. Meeting has been moved to 11.30 , good will give cake time to cool.

Meeting went fine, area manager said its obvious my hand is out of shape and agreed with me it was impossible to do my job. He is looking into terminating my contract so will get the same as redundancy pay out,suits me!!!
Made a brown (whole meal) seeded loaf, came out rather good .
