Help with gift for SO
« on: February 08, 2020, 02:09:26 pm »
Hi Everyone,

I have a family member who recently came out as transgender.  I've been vocally supportive but wanted to get a gift to commemorate the occasion.  He is a big fan of online gaming and I was thinking of getting a piece of gaming artwork with a transgender theme.  Does anyone know where I can commission an artist, preferably one with ties to the transgender community?  Also, any other ideas for gifts?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to put this, wasn't sure if it was better in gaming, entertainment, etc.  Thanks!

Hi Aldi 🌸 Welcome to Susan’s Place!  I’m Jessica.
I haven’t seen any transgender specific games myself, but then again I’m not into that.

I see you’re new here, so I’ll post some links that may help you get better acquainted with the site. Pay attention to the site rules they can be of great help and don’t forget the link highlighted red.  It has answers to questions that are commonly asked.  Then join in on a topic you find interesting and learn and share.

Please feel free to stop by the Introductions Forum to tell the members about yourself!

You might want to see if there are artists in your town or college that may wish to use their creative skills and come up some commissioned gaming artwork for your S.O.

Be a good example of good behavior.  Always be kinder than needed.  Be tender to others.  You are as beautiful as the thoughts you think and the words that you speak.   Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding.  Knowledge and action shown without love is not impressive.  If you look for the good in people you will find it. Healthy relationships are so important to good living.  Serve others.

Good living, joy, unity, love, and happiness can come from following these practices: Never let selfishness or conceit motivate you.  Regard others as more important than yourself.  Do not limit attention to only your interests, but include the interests of others

It is not usually about how fast you transition, it is about how well you transition.
