New to Discord. Privacy questions

So, I am new to discord and have a couple of questions about privacy (or maybe secrecy is better).
1. Can somebody else see what discord groups I'm in? I am not out and don't want to accidentally out myself.
2. My gamer tag showed up on the list of who is on Susan's discord. That's not a problem. I see I can change it. If I change it here, will it change elsewhere? Susan's is only the second group I have joined.
3. Are there any other suprise ways to accidentally out myself?

My daughter uses discord and I really don't want her to find out this about me by accident. That time will come.

by default have to be on the same server or have same friended users for them to show in profile. I'm not aware of a way to view more user information than the profile

might be a thing with the user list, not sure. can change the display name to suit needs/want

mostly internet security in general. not posting private information, avoiding links that are designed to harvest your public ip address or exfil information in some way

I wasn't sure where to go with this question. I'm still having some trouble navigating the site. I did find that chat was on the Discord app and I do have profile on Discord. It looks like there used to be a link on the mainpage here under Chat but that link seems to be broken or removed.  Is Discord still active?  When I try to look for the Susan page on Discord it says I need an invite code to add new rooms.
