I've been working the last year on my voice too. It's a long haul. Slowly but surely the fem voice becomes more and more automatic. A matter of muscle memory.

Well I just made my donation to Susan's , cant afford it so will have to sacrifice something but that's a  trade off I dont mind. Why everyone that uses this site cant give just a few (insert your currency) is beyond me -------

Weather is topsie turvy, Spent most of yesterday cleaning out the lockup (again) . Filled 2 large bin bags , moved stuff around and put some wheels that I don't need in my car to store in the garage at home. My youngest lad popped in to say he was planning to do some work on his car (about ******** time as its not been touched for 6 months) when he has a weeks hols . That's if he doesn't go fishing !!!
 Hot yesterday , down to the shirt but its typical UK public holiday today. Cold ,wet and windy with monsoon rain and gale force winds forecast.
 Found a veg "curry" recipe called nine jewels , its a strange one as it has tinned pineapple and single cream in it. Dinner and pudding all in one !!!
 Well off to the unit, bit of welding this morning as made enough room to take body side off for access to the rear of B post and inner sill. Have just been doing odd bits waiting for my pension money so I can get bits I need, still a job done is one less needed. One thousand and one left to do then----

Davina your son sounds like mine.  He finally knows how to fill the windshield washer bucket.  Forget about changing his oil.

There is something to be said about Spring cleaning.  Even if the list is endless, there is great satisfaction of checking things off the list.

He is a good mechanic but at the moment he has got the fishing bug!!  Did 4hrs then gave up and back home for a relax, got a lot to do to it tomorrow .

Got that cant be bothered feeling today, its cold again and I need SUN and HEAT . Have to be up early tomorrow, 2nd covid jab at 8.40 slot then its back to docs after food shop for my yearly check over. Keep forgetting to check my blood pressure as they wanted a weeks readings (woops)

Had my 2nd shot, lost a gold ring some place . Will ask at Docs when I go back as it might have come off when I took my coat off.

Found the ring in the bottom of my handbag , must have come off when I searched for my face mask. After no reaction to first jab my arm is very sore/feeling bruised . Shows its doing something.
Think I need choc and red wine----------------

Dear Davina:
I am so very glad that you found your lost gold ring....  you are loosing too much weight if your ring comes off so easily when searching for your mask in your handbag!!!!!   

Regarding your sore arm from the Covid vaccine injection... that seems to be a common theme with the vaccine shots, or perhaps any shot that one gets.
My arm was sore for several days and it was quite red around the injection site....   All OK now.

Thank you for sharing... and get your ring re-sized... or gain weight !!  LOL

My fault as getting ready in a rush I didn't push the ring on far enough as it fits fine , TBH I would be happy if it fell off due to weight loss !!
Arm is okay this morning, well its a bright cloudless morning with a bit of cloud and possible shower later and 14C. Nature balancing the books tomorrow, rain all day------

My pals the wood pigeons are perched in the weeping willow outside my 2nd floor window having a good preen this morning , nice to look out on some wildlife.
Road closed again on the way to my unit, it was surface dressed and due to folk not sticking to the 20mph speed limit much of the dressing has been lifted off leaving just tar so it needs doing again . Will have to use the lanes to get around it , mostly single track and it will be busy as locals will use it.

Have to be about for a phone call this afternoon, will know where I stand on benefit pay then. So its a house work day, bed sheets washing, vacing and cleaning and a load of cooking veg while its still good . Thats the trouble buying/cooking for one with no waste  , no waste means more waist ----------

At least veggies themselves do not have many calories.

Dear Davina:
When I get carried away and prepare/cook too much food I will put it in serving size containers that I can take to work for a lunch or work dinner.... if there is way too much I will put it in the freezer so it won't spoil and it is a future meal.

Yes I already do that, could do with a microwave in my lock up !!! Its a light salad with a very small chunk of cheese today for lunch and an apple.
