@Pammie Dear Pammie:Congratulations on getting your new job!Yes indeed, getting a "new start" at a company and with people that are not knowingly aware of your past and your transgender life journey... is so refreshing, to just be you. I can testify as a result of my own life as to the very same affirming feeling that you have. You look very beautiful and very happy.Thank you for sharing and posting.HUGS, Danielle
Day 1 of the new job and all good. I suppose I could be considered as being entirely in stealth mode now as the trans bit was neither a recruitment item nor is it an item now im actually working and part of the team i’m glad to say Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It is not so much stealth.. it is just not telling everyone you meet your history.. I think that is important.. Just getting on and living your life and doing your job.. that sounds pretty normal and well done.Nice dress too Pammie.. you have some lovely tastes..
PammieVery good to hear things are going good at the new job, more so that things just "are". And you picked a great outfit for your first day too!Hugs!!Caela
Day 2 and im already feeling at home. I think I needed to do this to strip away the last vestiges of my shadow self. They weren’t tangible but more the echo of other’s memories but still now it’s just plain old me! My elder sons birthday today so social distance cake in order! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Glad you're off to a good start.I'll admit the thought of starting fresh with a new employer as Megan has some appeal. I'll never be stealth, but wouldn't be "[old name] who became [new name]". XSent from my MI 9 using Tapatalk
Im honestly not sure if anyone at my old place ever thought of my old self but I was aware they might so there was still a fading echo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm glad the job is off to a good start, Pammie. I'm currently having the 'talks' with co-workers about my name change and such, just so they will have time to process and adjust.
Ah yes, I remember those... "Hey {colleague name} want to go grab a coffee?"...... "So you know my hair has been getting longer... well..."ROFL!Sent from my MI 9 using Tapatalk
This week has flown by and im feeling at home at Kellogg’s already. Love that I have removed the last echoes of my shadow self and it’s just all about me. Ok, so that sounds a bit vain Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
While it may sound vain, it's not- and it must be wonderful to not have the baggage anymore! Hugs Pammie!Hugs!!Caela
WOW Pammie you sound great and you look great!!! I'm so happy that the new job meshed so cleanly with who you are now. Excellent news!
Pammie, I also love the dress and the first outfit after it, which is the most flattering outfit I've ever seen you wear. Even though I dress like a homeless person, I actually write fashion articles for women's mags, so I know, follow, and appreciate fashion, but not quite enough to don it.
