It is not so much stealth.. it is just not telling everyone you meet your history.. I think that is important..
Just getting on and living your life and doing your job.. that sounds pretty normal and well done.

Nice dress too Pammie.. you have some lovely tastes..

Thanks on all counts Sarah. When I introduced myself and talked about my background I found that transition was just not relevant - they don’t need to know. It’s not who I am. I have evolved my taste over the last 3 years and im sure that will continue

Day 2 and im already feeling at home. I think I needed to do this to strip away the last vestiges of my shadow self. They weren’t tangible but more the echo of other’s memories but still now it’s just plain old me!
My elder sons birthday today so social distance cake in order!

Glad you're off to a good start.

I'll admit the thought of starting fresh with a new employer as Megan has some appeal. I'll never be stealth, but wouldn't be "[old name] who became [new name]". X

Im honestly not sure if anyone at my old place ever thought of my old self but I was aware they might so there was still a fading echo

Pammie, I also love the dress and the first outfit after it, which is the most flattering outfit I've ever seen you wear. Even though I dress like a homeless person, I actually write fashion articles for women's mags, so I know, follow, and appreciate fashion, but not quite enough to don it.

The outfit above is so versatile. You could wear it to high tea, for a hike on the Thames Path, or to work. The crossroads of comfort and versatility is Perfection Intersection.

Plus, you look at home in it. I consider you in that photo and I want to tell your pokey-to-accept kids to snap out of it.
