Pammie it was great to get caught up on your thread.

I agree hairdressers make a huge difference in how you look and how you feel.  I am glad that you are taking every opportunity to feel better and live life well in spite of your losses.  It sounds like you are surrounded by wonderful people.

It is so excellent to read!

Hugs,

Emma

Difficult day today but one that was tremendously affirming. Both for my identity but also a wonderful affirmation of the power of love.
My son in laws family just made me so a part of them and embraced me emotionally.
Funerals are never easy (and this one took me back to my daughters funeral so was anything but) but the wakes like today are so incredibly positive.
I’m truly humbled by how I’ve been treated today and feeling so right. I’m whole and i’m me even though I am still pre-op.
Hugs to all my wonderful trans sisters and brothers xxx
Ps no prizes for my photos, i’m a bit rubbish but it’s not the thing to take selfies at the actual funeral so I’ve just taken it now

Not been feeling great today but it’s weekend so i’m with the grandkids so busy busy busy!
Farm visit this afternoon and now bath, tea, tv and stories.
The afternoon with my elder son, his wife, 2 of my granddaughters and the 2 boys i’m looking after was so lovely but reminded me that my beautiful little girl Siobhan has gone
A night with my photo album I predict (and some wine) xx

Work is just bizarre as nobody quite knows what is going to happen when.

Pammie, I think we are all in a state of shock over this virus, and I admit that only a few days ago I wasn’t that worried about it. Try to keep your morale up as I believe when you are run down you are more susceptible. Are you going to isolate at all?

Hugs,

Allie

Always be kinder than needed.  Be tender to others.  You are as beautiful as the thoughts you think and the words that your speak.   Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding.  Knowledge and action shown without love is not impressive.  If you look for the good in people you will find it. Healthy relationships are so important to good living.

Good living, joy, unity, love, and happiness can come from following these practices: Never let selfishness or conceit motivate you.  Regard others as more important than yourself.  Do not limit attention to only your interests, but include the interests of others

It is not usually about how fast you transition, it is about how well you transition.

Reality check today. Working from home and will be for the foreseeable future! That’s OK but, of course, it’s a very isolated thing. Andy cake over for an hour today but he is a carer for his 89 year old dad and may soon not be able to come over - suddenly my world is collapsing inwards. My weekend trips to Teesside to look after grandchildren will also be under threat I fear. It’s all pretty horrible tbh!
It’s hard to see and end in sight too. We have entered a phase without having defined any exit criteria and that’s a little worrying for me.
Oh well, at least I CAN wfh so i’m lucky!
Hope everyone’s ok. Hugs for all! Xx

Oh well, some weeks are just best written off. First day of home working (for the foreseeable future) and I’ve not handled it well. Haven’t felt well for weeks now and probably exhausted with my every weekend 300 mile round trip to help with grandkids.
Not sure when I’ll get to see my Andy next either! Still, enough wingeing !
On the plus side there are many things - I get to be me every day, I have lots of nice clothes to wear and I have a very loving fella who is constantly thinking of me. I’m a lucky girl.
I did manage a run this evening but it was hard work and I’ve got a 5am start tomorrow

Hope you don't go stir crazy , take the time to recover as I am sure you will get more spare time. We are still flat out at work, MOTs services and all. Power cut this after noon so no lifts working ( 2 phases shorted under ground) but still have lights and sockets and we made more than what was set. Electricity folk were setting up a geny when I left, day off tomorrow anyway. Look after your self , stay well XXXXX
