I think I’ve got a handle on this lockdown finally. Between morning run and illicit meetings with my fella and an evening walk i’m stretching the rules but practising social distancing

You're lucky you're in Manchester! Here in Wales it is actually *illegal* for us to leave the house for exercise more than once a day. In the other UK countries it is not illegal. (At least, as far as I know.)

Ur right but I figure they wouldn’t actually challenge me anyway as long as i’m socially distancing xxx

I wanted to make a bit of an effort to meet up for a sneaky walk with my boyfriend - feeling ultra feminine today

Awwww thanks! I thoroughly enjoyed my walk! Sun, blue skies and even the cold wind couldn’t stop it being lovely

Monday’s are a little less daunting these days! Not that different from any other day - I work quite flexibly so did some work over the last weekend anyway,
It’s a strange world when one can go whole days without actually talking to anyone face to face.
I am fed-up of hearing the same message repeated ad infinitum.

Oh well, another day survived!

This whole thing is utterly messed up. But take it from someone who's had the virus and somehow survived it... Pammie you don't want this. Is why I haven't been here.

It will get better but... god, this thing is bad. I only had a mild version, heavens know why. But... the fewer people get it, the better. Trust me.

*hugs*

I’m not suggesting for a second I want it but believe me, if one is living alone in a small apartment and is claustrophobic there really is a limit to how often the message can be rammed down ones throat.
I choose to go out for a run early every morning and a long walk every evening and I practice social distancing all the time - that’s me finding my survival balance.

I know sweetie and it freaks me out sometimes. Where I am in the UK, it's been like the perfect spring day today. Not a cloud in the sky, a lovely breeze, birds singing... a time where people would have been out enjoying it. It's like the world is being a PITA. Any other time we'd have snow, or hurricanes, or torrential rain with a chance of drizzle.

2020 will likely go down in history as "The Year The World Tried To Kill Us!" lol. Hang in there okay? I know how you're feeling. It can drive you to distraction. Just... be careful, and stay safe. And if anyone looks a bit peaky, cross the road. :)

Mhm. At first I thought it was just hayfever. I'm okay, although I was scared I'd permanently lost my sense of smell. Took almost three weeks to get it back. I feel for people who've had it way worse though. :(

This is definitely something you don't want to mess with. I originally thought I had bronchitis until my wife ended up in the hospital.  She's now home after 1 week but she will be on oxygen for the foreseeable future and this is with no preexisting conditions. I got it a little less severe but no fun nonetheless.

I’m definitely not suggesting anyone would want to get it but what I am saying is that it’s possible to go out more than once and practice social distancing and have no extra risk.
Anyway, i’m doing what I need to to survive!
I think it might be Tuesday today

Hi Pammie,  I'm very happy that you're able to get out.  It's very difficult being cooped up in the house.  There's no doubt you are trying to be safe.  I'm fortunate to be back working so it's not as hard to keep track of the days.  I hope you continue to stay healthy.
