Are you allowed to see your hairstylist yet Pammie?  Finally got to mine after all that wait, it will make you feel a little better hopefully.  Same with beautician, kinda scary with all the rules but worth it! :)

Hang in there gf, it's a drag right now I know.  I'm gonna have to stop the beauty salon visits for a while as it happens and concentrate on my hair for the time being.  It's growing out nicely, I'm really pleased.  Good luck with your next visit, let us know when you finally get back.

This morning I stood n front of one wardrobe after another (I only have 4 - we are not talking Jackie Onassis here!) trying to decide what to wear. Then it suddenly occurred to me just how flipping amazing my life is! What a wonderful life when my challenge of the day is which outfit I feel like wearing.
I look in the mirror and I see me, I see the real me and it makes me feel so happy.
I love the styles I have found, love my skin and the world I inhabit!
In other words I need to stop whining quite so much!

It certainly does, my stylist is almost like a therapist she's so helpful.  And I'm glad you've turned around, keep positive! :)

Nice day again today - feeling much more relaxed since I started focussing n how far I’ve come instead of focussing on being isolated.

Lockdown has been such a rollercoaster for most of us I think, certainly it has for me. I’m back in the up slope again thank goodness. I do love my own company but need social distancing interaction too. Video conferencing is ok but it’s not the same as really meeting people in the flesh.
Still, I’ve made the effort every work day to dress for work and the warm weather has allowed me to get my sundresses out at other times which always makes me feel better!
I’m lucky in that I can just be myself so I need to remember how far I’ve come and how lucky I am!

Just one week until my daughters birthday  - would have been her 35th.
All things pale to me in comparison - I thought until Siobhan died that transition was my biggest challenge but now I know it wasn’t.
I don’t wonder “will I cry today” but rather “how often and for how long will I cry today”
- I have learned over the past 320 days to allow myself periods of happiness up to 4 or 5 hrs max and that it’s ok to cry - grief is a harsh mistress.
We all have challenges, I’ve realised that too but it doesn’t seem to help me survive my own.
