Alcohol - check
Chocolate - check

Ok. Started preparing for the anniversary
I have tried so hard to find positivity and think of all the good memories of my little girl but I am submerged by despair
Still managed to do my workout though!

Pammie I truly hope you can find joy in your memories and not despair in your loss.  I like to believe that the ones we lost demand it of us.  I like to think of heaven as a pub where I know the owner and everyone is a friend or family :).

Raise a glass and share a smile!

Warm hugs,

Emma

Thank you so much Emma! Generally I handle it reasonably well and i’m ok with crying when I need to but this, the first anniversary, has really got through my defences xxx

@Pammie   @Ellie_Arroway
To answer both of you ladies question.....
I am in the "all done" club.  I was fortunate that my unique genes cooperated with HRT so I did NOT have to have other surgery procedures such as FFS, BA or VFS.   I count myself very, very fortunate because I do know that there are my transition journey friends here that are "looking forward" to those things to help complete their journey.
HUGS and best wishes...
Danielle

You didn't have to answer!

You kind of make me feel as if Pammie and I concocted an elaborate plan to determine your operational status! That was definitely NOT the case...

I am happy for you!

I don't believe I will need any other surgeries either... but I guess it remains to be seen. Right now, I feel like I wouldn't need them, but one effect of HRT is to alter the brain, and I don't know how that will go for me.

I'm not flat as a pancake though; I have pretty clear A cups, and whilst they are obviously not large, I don't feel the need for BA. I think my face is feminine enough already. And I don't think I want a tracheal shave...

Well, I was a complete write-off last night. Hid behind a curtain of alcohol and tried not to think about the loss of my beautiful little girl 12 months ago.
I guess it worked but i’m not real proud.
Feeling oh so fragile.
