Pammie’s all new blog

Back home in Manchester for a couple of days (got my anti-androgen injection on Monday) and it feels very quiet!
Will see my Andy tomorrow though!
Had a lovely granpam week in Teesside
I sometimes worry that my blog doesn’t spend much time talking about trans issues and is more about my daily life

So how was everybody’s Sunday? Mine was really good, woke up feeling poorly (I have a cold) and decided on plan B which was going for a 7.5km run to blow the cobwebs away. Felt better afterwards!
Then Andy came over for a couple of hours at lunchtime which was totally wonderful as usual I!
Back off to Teesside tomorrow evening but 12 weekly anti-androgen injection in the morning first!
I must admit I feel like my body has some T swilling around in it at the moment as im definitely irritable right now.
Catching up with NFL tonight but gutted my Seahawks are out at the first hurdle.

After a busy day yesterday, today is a kind of take it easy and get chores done day.  I'm glad getting out helped you feel better!  Get well!

I'm curious.... From one 12 to another....  How does a girl from Northern England become a fan of the Seahawks?

Hugs!!

Hee hee! Good question hun! I spent a wonderful year July 94 to July 95 living across Lake Union in Bellevue and working in a little place called Bothell. I saw the Hawks play at UW 5 times (the old dome was out of action)  and have remained a fan ever since!
I absolutely loved the area!
Hugs right back! X

Tough couple of days. Not really transition oriented but both my sons giving me a hard time so soon after my younger daughter took out her anger on me on Boxing Day. I suppose there is a trans angle in that the default attack is them all saying they lost their dad when I transitioned . It’s so hard being the default target when any of them get upset thinking about Siobhan.

Believe me I have made that argument so many times!
I explained to them so much that my core is unchanged  and my children are still the centre of my universe.
I am different in lots of ways and they focus on that when they are upset. It’s so hard and it breaks my heart, we all miss Siobhan and I sometimes think it’s too much.

A quiet day of recovering my equilibrium - much needed I have to confess!
Feeling emotionally battered and oh so tired - I need some no dramas time.
Being with my grandsons helps so much xx

Good to hear you've got a bit of balance back! No drama time is something I'm working for too.... haven't quite got there yet!

Hugs!

Tomorrow morning is my last in my current job at PZ Cussons before I start a new job on Monday at Kellogg’s. Im loving the fact that im just me at Kellogg’s, no trace of my old self.
It’s time for a new challenge and to make the most of the advantages I have.
I know Myself far better than the vast majority of cis people and I have reservoirs of courage all ready to go.

Dear Pammie:
I can fully appreciate how you feel about your new job....  just you, no trace of old self.
When I relocated to Alaska to start my small business, I arrived as a women, met friends and clients as a woman and it  took well over a year for anyone in town to know my past.... and it was my Dental Hygienist who outed me...  she is now my tooth-fairy sweetie, so it turned out well.

Thank you for sharing your good report.
I have been enjoying your updates and reading what you write about your "Andy"
