My fave is to keep it simple. Sautee it a bit in a wide saucepan in light oil with garlic, then pour in a little water, cover, and steam until it's as tender as you like it. Pepper flakes can be a nice addition depending on your tastes.
Key for me is not covering up that wonderful fresh, green, cabbage flavor and not overcooking.
Another option is to make kimchee, but it's easier to buy that at the grocery store.
