Tele counselling

I'm just wondering if anyone here has had any experience with online doctors/counselors? From what I understand it's a lot less expensive than in-person visits and I'm just wondering about the experience. At this point I am sort of mid-transition and I mainly just want to get prescriptions to continue my transition. I do feel the talk-therapy will be helpful but I have gotten to know myself pretty well at 42 and I don't think I need a ton of talk therapy.

I had my first telemedicine appointment ever for my first HRT appointment just this week.  I also see my therapist over zoom.  I think it has its positives and negatives, but I don't think it costs less for me so far.

Living in an isolated community I have had telemedicine appointments with my endo and webex with my psychiatrist. Because of the covid 19 crisis I got to do the the webex meeting from my living room and except a hiccup getting connected I loved it. If you have ever used skype it's really just like that.

ok except for the infrequent network glitches, HIPPA compliant, most try to be? Everything is on the wire. Sessions are paid for by employer. If you go over the X number of sessions then its $$$$$ per hours. My sessions have last from 30 to 45 minutes. The employer purchases massive number of sessions more than likely at discount?
Peer led free group sessions are also available, APPS can and do vary. What can I say once it is out into the cloud ...
