Oh! There are just too many choices here.  ???

At my age I go for comfort over fashion any day.

Because of my age my eyes are too dry for contact lenses.

Finally it is much easier to get into a skirt than a dress. Who is the designer who put a zipper in the back? Must be an idiot of some sort.  ::)

Back zippers makes sense for its appearance from the front for the styles, fit, and materials used that would benefit from having a back zipper, but it is harder to reach that is for sure. I have not found a front zipper dress that I ever really wanted to buy.

Oh this is a fun list.   :)
Sometimes it is hard to make choices, but we probably have overall preferences.

Dress or skirt?

If I'm going out, I tend to find dresses more complimentary to my body shape and most girls that I see, I have a handful of skirts that I find flattering, but a closet rack full of dresses.  Generally I go for jeans though.

Bra or panties?
So, like, I'd have to go bare below?  I'd have to go for bras... what little I have need all the help they can get!

Eyeglasses or contact lenses?
Neither, fortunately, but when they finally do go, would be going for contacts! :)

Ponytail or pigtails?

Though my sparse head hair probably could only hope for pigtails

Shorts or skorts?

Skorts, they remind me of myself... stuck in the middle of transition.

Sneakers or sandals?

Cute sneakers and jeans all day!

Camisoles or slips?

Camisoles are the foundation to layering!

Leggings or yoga pants?

Yoga leggings?

Socks or panty hose?

Knee-high socks, otherwise I prefer bare legs and if I had to wear black nylons for a formal event, probably stick to stockings.

Comfortable shoes or uncomfortable but stylish shoes?

As long as they look good, I'll suffer, but that's for going out, the rest of the time I'm in comfy shoes.  Lot's of converse and vans.

Pull-down tops or button-up tops?

So many good button-ups end up gaping on me.

Pants or skirts/dresses?

Hardest one though, does this mean no skinny jeans?!  I mean I'm not going out all that much where I'd wear the latter, and jeans can be pulled off on a lot more occasions on the West Coast... gotta be pants I guess for the versatility.

Fun! Thanks for the distraction Chrissy!

I seem to like some high-low hem tops.
Besides looking nice, if they are tucked in, the longer back keeps the backside covered when you squat!

But I enjoy wearing them not tucked in.  I guess I do not like tucking!   :)

But I do not like them to be too long in the back.  Maybe down to the top of the rear or the just above the pockets, if any, back there. Layering can provide a nice look too.

I'm with Rakel. I'm old I dress for comfort. Pants and shorts. Nearly always cotton. Knickers, but no bra. Glasses rather than contacts. I don't even own a camisole or slip. I've never owned the former and haven't owned the latter for decades. Pigtails are fun, but I'm not young enough for them anymore.

  • I am a girl, I have always been a girl
So fun!

This reminds me of the hours and hours I spent as a sweet young thing going through every page of the Sears catalog looking at the girl's and women's clothes and choosing which outfit or item of clothing I liked best.  Whenever we got a new catalog my heart would just about explode from the anticipation!

Tough choices

Skirt
Panties
Eyeglasses
Ponytail
shorts
sandals
cami
leggings
socks (can they be ruffled?!)
comfortable shoes - Mary Jane's
button up tops
skirts/dresses

Thanks for putting this out their for us Chrissy!
