Hi I would like to use makeup to subtly feminize my face. I am not looking to do anything super crazy in fact the less makeup the better, also with colors i prefer things that look more natural.

Hello Mario:
I will give you my welcome messages soon but first I want you to know that you are on the right track with your feeling regarding makeup.   In my opinion, subtle makeup application works best for me... I do not want the "painted on" appearance or the super-crazy makeup and colors.

You are in the correct forums area ... look around at all the posts here in the "Makeup" and the "Beauty" subforums.  There are a lot members that have shared information that may be of value to you.

Hi Mario, and welcome!  I use various daily face foundation moisturizer.  I like them because you can choose one with a tint or shimmer and they usually have sun block. There are lots of tinted lip moisturizers too.  Enjoy!

I really only do  minimum, and by that I mean just a BB cream thinly applied. It just lightens and covers blemishes. If I go 'mad' then I use mascara and maybe eyeliner, that makes me look very feminine and is about the total extent of my daily make-up (and what I have on now) - No colours, blushers, contouring or even eyeshadow or lipstick.
That said, it is nice sometimes to do a 'full face' and that does make me special, but it takes ages and I only do that if I am going out somewhere special. Still a nice thing to do and something that takes practice.

But yes, my mantra (and a lot of my cis-female friends too) is 'less is more.'.

Dear Chrissy:

EXACTLY RIGHT!!!   That painted-on look is not attractive in most cases for most people.
In my personal opinion as transgender women it is better to blend-in and not stand out with wild makeup and clothing.

Dress, act, talk, and look the part for obtaining the acceptance and respect that we are seeking.

Alittle powder blush and a tiny bit of powder foundation.
I go from there....

Normal basic skincare and moisturising, then a little orange concealer on the facial hair areas (lessening, not hiding) and under the eyes, a little liquid foundation on top of that, powder foundation all over, black eyeshadow applied with a fine brush as an eyeliner (because it lasts all day), clear mascara over dyed black lashes, some tinted lip balm (Nivea cherry shine is my fav) and i'm done, seems like more than it is when written down I might try to do something with my eyebrows if they need dying again, but otherwise I just keep them shaped.

I wear full makeup quite rarely as at the moment due to the whole pandemic thing.
