Very nice!

Chrissy
Be a good example of good behavior.  Always be kinder than needed.  Be tender to others.  You are as beautiful as the thoughts you think and the words that your speak.   Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding.  Knowledge and action shown without love is not impressive.  If you look for the good in people you will find it. Healthy relationships are so important to good living.  Serve others.

Good living, joy, unity, love, and happiness can come from following these practices: Never let selfishness or conceit motivate you.  Regard others as more important than yourself.  Do not limit attention to only your interests, but include the interests of others

It is not usually about how fast you transition, it is about how well you transition.

@Jessica
Dear Jess:
Wow-Whee !!!!   That is quite impressive with all that you planted and the progress of all the growing plants...  my "garden" has not progressed as much as yours, the weather here finally has warmed up this last month and the days are getting very long so mine is going and growing well now..   at some point I will post an update photo.

Thank you for sharing and posting.
HUGS,
Danielle

Compared to the pictures of the "gardens" that others like @Devlyn, @Jessica and @Tess100 shared, mine is still trying to grow...  it got a late start because of the cooler weather but now that the days are much longer now I expect that I will be harvesting very soon.

On recent a couple of recent hikes that were wet, I did not see any mountains but the wild flowers were out and full of beauty. Here a few of those flowers. Liina

I took some photos of beautiful wildflowers along the way...
We had a great time... good exercise too.

Hello All!  I just spent a rainy week driving around Montana looking for a dry day to hike and explore.  Even though it was cold, rainy and snowy it was still beautiful.
@Northern Star Girl Are the mosquitos bad where you live?  Alaska is such an amazing place.
Everyones flower and garden pictures are amazing!  I love the pallet garden.

From hikes I have done the past few days, low elevation flowers are out nicely and some up higher too. The Alpine flowers will be a few weeks yet, should be good though. I am still looking for the nice clear days to get better vistas but we can still the mountains and that is good!

Okay I do not mean to scare anyone and I can insure that I do this with the most safety, concern and respect for my favourite furry friends, Bears! I live in the mountains where I see bears all the time and have done so for my entire life. I even had one in my yard a few days ago, I see loads of them, and they are my favourites.  Since Photography has been with me for 40 years I do love spring time when they first come out and are feeding after a long winter in a den, it is the perfect time to see them and photograph them. Here are some from this year spring in all of nature which all around me.
Many are from back roads and in the wilderness areas where they are safe.  Liina

Wednesday July 01, 2020 update:

As I had mentioned in other comments of mine around the forums, I went on a
HIKE into the nearby hills with my tooth-fairy sweetie and a coffee shop friend.
It was aboout a 12 mile round trip adventure.  Great exercise and an enjoyable trip outdoors.

At the top/halfway point we had our lunch that we packed.
It was a sunny, clear and warm day with terrific views.

My Sweetie is on the Left, I am in the middle taking the picture...

Hey Liina, I love your bear pictures. We have black bears, like your first 3 pictures, here in Colorado, even in my neighborhood. Like you, we love them and don't worry about them (except we have to be careful to keep our trash in the garage until the morning of pickup day).

But that last one! We would probably call that a grizzly. Those are scary to me. Danielle has them in Alaska I know. We are lucky we don't have to deal with them here. Stay safe!

Hi Randy, yes you are correct with that observation it is a grizzly bear. And also you are correct they are very unpredictable and dangerous. Many folks do run into them hiking, biking and hunting around here for sure, I do prefer seeing them from a vehicle and that is where can get a picture of them without bothering them. Just this spring we have had 2 very interesting observations in our mountain nat'l parks of grizzly anomalies, one mama grizzly had to 2 cubs and one was a totally white. It was seen near the major highway several times though I have not seen this rarity.
Then about 3 weeks ago in a different area of the park, a mother grizzly with cubs showed up near one road and it had one of the cubs with all white head, a lady was able to get a distant picture of this little guy. You can find both of these on the internet now. Our mountains have many of these and one has to be prepared with spray and bear bangers if you run into them on foot. Fascinating creatures.

Sounds like a wonderfully long hike Danielle, so nice to those trips with a group of friends, it is just the best. Danielle is there a point in the summer when the bugs finally die out? We get that around mid to late August for the most part. Thanks for sharing your hiking adventures!
