Gardening and our new allotment

<< < (26/26)

Devlyn:
A long winter, but spring is upon us. We've been busy at the allotment, moving pallet collars and making room for our new tunnel. Here's the frame.

It was a bit windy, but we got the cover on without flying away.

Side shot.

It's not a subtle structure.

Our plants while they were going in and out of the greenhouse on a daily basis.

They're in the nursery full-time now, there's a heater to protect them from frost. Pictured are our tomatoes (Tumbling Tom,  Marmande, San Marzano), peppers (Serrano,  JalapeƱo, Cayenne, Sweet Bell), pumpkins, cucumbers, butternut squash, spaghetti squash, courgettes (zucchini, my US friends), and some petunias.

At the allotment we have 60 strawberry plants, carrots, kale, beetroot, rhubarb, garlic, and pansies. We'll be putting in beans, ornamental corn (Glass Gem), and melons soon.

ChrissyRyan:
May you two have a bountiful harvest in the months ahead!

I really enjoy seeing your garden updates.
