Hi
« on: July 05, 2020, 02:10:14 pm »
I just wanted to say hi to everyone. I'm on 3 other forums, but I like this one, also. I'm 41, biologically male, and consider myself either Transgender Female, Genderqueer, or Non-Binary (not sure which category I fit in). I've taken my first step by telling my best friend that I was Trans, and she was so open and okay about it, I'm excited to eventually move forward with HRT (MTF) sometime soon. I don't have the money to go through with it (doctor's visits, blood tests, HRT meds, electrolysis or laser hair removal, facial surgery, throat surgery, bilateral orchiectomy, yet.

I will be keeping my private parts as they are (except for bilateral orchiectomy), and I'm pansexual. This probably creates a problem for finding partners later, but I'll worry about that later.

Hi SophiaK,

Welcome!  Yes, the labels are confusing.
Perhaps the best thing to do is to just concentrate on figuring yourself out first and not worrying which box your may or may not fit into.

Welcome Sophia.

It can take a long time for people to figure out where they fit in the gender non-confirming spectrum and that's ok.

It is so wonderful that you came out to the first person...that is such an important step. It only took me 40 years to do that!

Welcome Sophia!

Chrissy
Always be kinder than needed.  Be tender to others.  You are as beautiful as the thoughts you think and the words that your speak.   Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding.  Knowledge and action shown without love is not impressive.  If you look for the good in people you will find it. Healthy relationships are so important to good living.

Good living, joy, unity, love, and happiness can come from following these practices: Never let selfishness or conceit motivate you.  Regard others as more important than yourself.  Do not limit attention to only your interests, but include the interests of others

It is not usually about how fast you transition, it is about how well you transition.
