Your coffee and danish sounds great but your weather sounds horrid!...
It is telling here that the nights are drawing in now.. dark before 8pm but today (In North Wales) it has been sunny and warm.. I have even been driving around with the roof down on the car  (when I should of really been doing some work! - but, girls gotta shop!)..
Wrap up warm Danielle.... and don't forget to keep us posted on what the secret plans are!!! I am intrigued..

Danielle, sure does look like winter is coming for you, still in the mid-high 80's here yet. Time to get your propane tank filled.  I do like the fall here many nice days starting now.

Thank you for your recent comment replies:  @mm   @SarahEL

Dear mm, SarahEL and Laura:
Thank you so much for posting your very recent replies and sharing your thoughts here on my Blog thread.

In response your comment Laura, winter weather can last for 6 months as you mentioned...   our Summers are very brief and the in-between seasons of Autumn and Spring can be kind of a mix of mild winter weather with snow and ice, and also be a mix of sunshine and also rain.    In the summer, the daylight can be very long at the peak of summer in late June ... up to 22 hours of the sun in the sky and then just lightweight without any real darkness.
The opposite is true in the dead of winter in late December, with only 2 hours of the sun... very low in the sky barely above the horizon and the rest of the 22 hours is pitch-black darkness except when there are clear skies with a bright moon.

Yes indeed mm, winter is coming very soon here...most nights are below freezing temperatures and some mornings there is a dusting of snow on the groung....   at my home I have a large 250 gallon propane tank used primarily for my furnace, and once Summer is over I never ever let it get to less than half-full.

And now SarahEL, to respond to your comment regarding the "Secret Plans" than my tooth-fairy sweetie surprised me with...
.... she planned a special dinner at one of the nicer restaurants in town.... she told be to be sure to dress-up for the occasion...

Thank you everyone for following and commenting....
With all the wild weather and mother nature acting up I trust that you will stay warm, stay cool, stay dry, avoid the smoke and fires... and steer clear of any of the Covid-19 issues.... STAY SAFE and HEALTHY>
HUGS,
Danielle

Dear Jane:
Thank you for your comment reply,
To answer your questions,
...we went out for Italian Food, I had Fettuccine Alfredo .... so very good !!!
I wore my hair up, that is the style that my tooth-fairy likes me to wear.
I wore a gray A-Line dress with 3/4 sleeves, moderate length just above the knees.

Not a special occasion other than she wanted to surprise me and take
me out to a nice dinner in our dressy clothes.

HUGS,
Danielle

Very happy to hear that you enjoyed the surprise from your sweetie. The fettuccine alfredo sounds like heaven. It is one of my favorite dinners.
