Hi I'm Amber!
« on: August 02, 2020, 02:31:01 am »
Hello everyone! I want to thank you ALL for creating such a welcoming and informative space for our community. My name is Amber, I am a 30 year old MTF. I recently gained the courage to take the leap and begin HRT, however I have been working on my transition in other ways for the last 2 years.

I've focused on things such as:

Learning the ins and outs of makeup artistry
Acquiring a wardrobe & jewelry
Voice training
Growing my hair out / trying to restore my receding hairline
Body hair and facial hair removal
Adjusting my fitness routine to hopefully gain a more feminine figure
Educating myself as much as possible

I've just been a "lurker" on these forums up until now - however, since I started my HRT, I feel like I am finally "officially" beginning my transition & I want to contribute what I can by taking the opportunity to share my journey!

    Welcome Amber!   :)

Be tender to others.  You are as beautiful as the thoughts you think and the words that your speak.   Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding.  Knowledge and action shown without love is not impressive.  If you look for the good in people you will find it. Healthy relationships are so important to good living.

Good living, joy, unity, love, and happiness can come from following these practices: Never let selfishness or conceit motivate you.  Regard others as more important than yourself.  Do not limit attention to only your interests, but include the interests of others

It is not usually about how fast you transition, it is about how well you transition.
