Alyssa's HRT journey
« on: August 04, 2020, 08:05:06 pm »
So for 3-4 years before this, I played with herbal medicines and estrogen creams from amazon, but decided I was going to do it with medical monitoring.   I talked to the local informed consent clinic and made my goals clear -- maximize breast growth while keeping my ability to penetrate during sex with my wife.  (To be clear, I have no intention of fully transitioning, I just want a more feminine shape.)

So, for the first 6 weeks, starting today, I'm on a low dose of oral estradiol with no AA.  We'll see how my body deals with it and the E dosage might increase later.

Welcome to the club, though you will likely be disappointed with your ability to penetrate.
I'm a 66 year old male who has been thinking about SRS for many years.  I also was a  full cross dresser for a few years.  I wear a bra, pantyhose and nail polish daily because it just feels right.

Started HRT April 17, 2019.

I'd be very curious to see how it goes for you. Please keep us apprised!

As I know even without AA estrogen is killing the erectile function. Please let us know the results in middle and longterm time . Hope you will get happy.

I've basically been doing this for different reason, and the spontaneous erections are gone, and the are harder to achieve over all, but the experience for all will be very much different after you've been on Estrogen for a while.

Thanks for everyone's comments.  I know there are risks, but my understanding of it is that if I do lose my ability to have an erection, I should be able to get that back if I stop the E once I'm satisfied with the breast growth and/or have enough to get a BA if the growth doesn't look like it will be satisfactory.  It's all something to think about down the line.
