Been watching a whole lot of movies in this Covid era. Was discussing this with friends, what are your favorite great movies with not a happy ending.

I don’t know if any mob or gangster movie can have a happy ending, i.e, Godfather, Casino, Goodfellas.....ok maybe Untouchables 😹

Here are some of mine:

Million Dollar Baby
Titanic, the ship still sinks
The Green Mile
Gallipoli, can a war movie have a happy ending?!
No Country for Old Men

and the first movie ever to make me cry, King Kong (the original '30s one)  (he dies in the end... it is really sad!)....
