Homemade hot sauce

We're getting a good yield of serranos, jalapenos, sweet peppers, garlic, onions, and shallots from our allotment, so we decided to have a go at hot sauce.



The initial fermentation is going to take place in a vacuum bag. Megan says it looks like angry Skittles.  ;D

Look up White Thunder BBQ on YouTube. He has done different hot sauces among other things. Even watch The Hot Ones on YT? Or Chii Klaus?

We're subscribed to Chillichump, he's local to us here in the UK. We sent him a bottle of our jalapeno wine last week, we're waiting for him to try it out and get back to us.

Yes, the local hot pepper guru on YouTube has switched from fermenting in a jar with an airlock to vacuum bags. We're going to give it a try.

Them's Skittles out for trouble!

We're about to bring in the last of our habaneros. Usually dry them, but fermentation is a p cool idea. Might could try.

Looks awesome! Please update this when you are finished. I contemplated growing some peppers this year, but eating raw hot peppers is not an option lol.
