One thing that I just don't understand about driving in England, is why they still drive on the left side of the road.  ???   I know that there are a few other countries that do this, but most are islands or former British controlled areas.

Sweden was one of these places, but they changed in 1967 and switched to the right side of the road. When is England going to start driving on the proper side of the road ?
