Sigmoid colon and penile inversion surgeries
« on: November 20, 2020, 04:15:24 am »
Over the years I have been assisting tgs ladies in Thailand. Most have been taking  hormones since a young age (not long after puberty) this results in many cases where there is just not enough skin for a penile inversion with good depth. Many have had to have skin grafts which is troublesome and causes scar from the skin graft. Most, in the end, settle for a shallow depth prefering anal sex.

The Sigmoid colon surgery are prone to have infecton issues. This is especially true if it is done in a one step surgery. The tg girls who have gteat success and are throughly satisfied are those who can afford it as a second step sirgery.  They have a penile inversion and dilate to keep the entrance and preserve the few inches depth. A year later they have the sigmoid colon. This greatly reduces the chance of infection and provide great depth which is self lubricating. The odor from using the colon disappears after a month or so..

Most of us after the initial  penile inversion surgery will have an aeshetic surgery to correct cosmetic issues about a year later. But having another major surgery for sigmoid colon is not pleasent and many just settle for what they have. The few who also take this option have reported excellent results for depth and self lubrication. Hope this can help some of you ladies who are thinking about this.

Warlockmaker, the current trend seems to be towards Peritoneal Pull Through Vaginoplasty, where the lining of the tummy is used to line the vaginal cavity, commonly created as part of a 2 step process or revision. It produces a self lubricating cavity with almost identical properties to a cis cavity, including stable vaginal flora. It also apparently requires less dilation, which is a major attraction for many.

Multi step vaginoplasties can work out to be very expensive, and each step requires almost the same recovery time as a one step operation. Weighing all these up can help trans women decide what is best for them. My specialist nurse who does my post op care told me I had chosen shallow depth wisely, as she found that 60% of women over 55 (I'm 66) who get full depth, allow their cavity to close within 5 years. I am asexual, so there didn't seem to be a justification for full depth.

Just for interest, are you saying many younger women choose shallow depth because they want to avoid the extra surgery?

Hugs,

Allie

Great additional information and I will look into this. I live in Bangkok and I have not had any expreience with this so far.

Yes, the cost is high for multiple surgeries. Few can afford this in Thailand. The average income is usd 600 pm so sacrifices have to be made. So anal sex for orgasm is the only way. And, for those in escort services, they say men prefer anal.#%&

BTW I am 72. Have a family history long life, my father is 100. I am sexually active and had penile inversion with 6 inch depth its the same 5 years later.

Interesting to hear of those sacrifices due to cost, Here in Australia the cost difference between Labiaplasty (shallow depth) and Penile Inversion Full Depth Single procedure is less than 15%, so most choose full depth as the cost is not much higher.

It didn’t influence my decision, but I had hypogonadism for the latter part of my life, and significant shrinkage which would have meant i would have had to look at other options for full depth. If penetrative sex ever happened for me, I do enjoy anal so I don’t consider I have lost that option.

I am 73 years old and had a minimal depth vaginoplasty two years ago.  I am finally scheduled for a long needed revision on December 14 if Corona does not delay it again.  The original situation and reasons for choosing the minimal depth have been changing so my thought for the future is the peritoneal pull through.  However, I really don't want to have to go through another surgery. While I would love to experience sex as a women in a relationship, it would have to depend of course on finding the right guy.  Not easy at my age!

Another late transitioner here. I am 71 years old and when it comes to relationships with men our age, I know exactly how rare and precious this can be. If we ever find someone, take good care of him. They are not that common.   :P

For all of us older girls. Our genetation love to say "age is only a number" but for me it a reality.  When a male I married 4 times. My last was 27 years younger, so why change my goals. My short flings, or better my toy boys are all late 20 to early 30s. I cant bear the thought of a man my age unless they were more sussessful than me as a male. I am bi  and now have a 31 year old girlfriend. I dont want a serious relationship, love my freedom and a life without the dramas of a relationship. I have not changed much in this respect.
