Hi! and thankyou! I have done everything i can - the rest is up to luck and fate now . The UK process is very slow unless you can afford to do it privately i believe its like two years before i can even see a gender therapist. Cant really afford private medical care and shoes wardrobe makeup etc etc. I see a point in my future where i have most of the stuff i need and disposable cash again! But its a long way away :(

Thank you so much! Also why I kept my intro short and sweet. I found this site in a sleep deprived state after a "bad" week where I think I achieved a lot of good things, but it was a taxing experience! Expect an update on who I am and how I got here very soon!

Hi!

Welcome Sarah!

Chrissy
Be a good example of good behavior.  Always be kinder than needed.  Be tender to others.  You are as beautiful as the thoughts you think and the words that your speak.   Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding.  Knowledge and action shown without love is not impressive.  If you look for the good in people you will find it. Healthy relationships are so important to good living.  Serve others.

Good living, joy, unity, love, and happiness can come from following these practices: Never let selfishness or conceit motivate you.  Regard others as more important than yourself.  Do not limit attention to only your interests, but include the interests of others

It is not usually about how fast you transition, it is about how well you transition.

Hi Sarah,

You may be able to practice voice training using online resources while you are waiting for NHS services.
As you are presenting female there may be no need to switch back to your old voice.

I have been practicing more, when I am confident about myself I can be pretty convincing, but confidence comes and goes! This coming week I am basically throwing away or donating to charity all my old clothes and fully committing to my new life, getting my voice right is high on the list of priorities right now!
