Question about breast forms
« on: January 06, 2021, 12:33:47 pm »
Hi. I bought a pair of 1800g silicon breast forms. I wonder how do you attach them on your body. They are little more heavy. I googled there is some Pros-Aide the original adhesive. Is it what I need? Or is there anything better?
Thank you.

Usually I just place them in a bra and leave it at that- but if I am going for a strapless look, I'll use Adapt Medical Adhesive Spray (Hollister #7730)

I am clueless on breast forms.  I have used insert pads before to see what the difference in breast volume may look like.  I know those are different things though.

I hope you get helpful responses!

There are many medical adhesives available. Most are for use with colostomy appliances. Any Pharmacy that has these products should be able to help.

Just one comment here. Breasts that large will need some support, otherwise they will be pulling on the skin at the attachment point, possibly stretching the skin a bit more than you like. 1800 g ?  :o Those puppies will not only be in the next room, but in the next zipcode as well.  ;D

I don't think I'm real crossdresser, I'm dressing rarely when we play with my wife. So I gonna use them not much often. Maybe I don't need any adhesive for that. Bra should be enough.

Just posting this in case it might help some other girls.

I've used several brands of medical adhesive, including Hollister.  While all are effective for attaching silicone breast forms, the best by far (IMO) is Telesis 8 by PPI.
                  <Off-Site LINK removed, not allowed>

Telesis is widely used in the motion picture industry to attach all sorts of prosthetics to actors bodies.  Amazing stuff and totally safe.  It comes in a bottle and is applied sparingly with a brush or Q-tip.  It's expensive but a little goes a long way.  Also, there's no waste and no mess as with Hollister and other sprays.  Telesis can be purchased at film/theatrical supply retailers and special effects makeup retailers.

When I apply Telesis to my forms and chest, the adhesive bond is quite strong.  I can go 3-4 days before my forms start to loosen.  Even going braless for an evening affair becomes possible.  For reference, my forms are 750 grams each.  I wear 40 E and 42 D bras, depending on brand.

I'd venture a guess that no brand of adhesive, even Telesis, is strong enough to allow you to go braless with forms much over 1200 grams.  You'll need a bra to keep them from falling off.

Hope this helps someone.
Emily
