Hi there
I am finishing my transition.
FSS and BA and GRS all hopefully completed in 2021

I only recently heard about Body Contouring where lipo is used to improve the stomach look and far is injected to the thighs, hips and the bum to get a more feminine shape  sounds promising

Has anyone in the forum done this?
What were the results? Complications? Recovery time ?

I am an older transwoman. Passable  but would like to improve and blend in the best I can

I have had a number of procedures that removed fat, but none for injecting this fat back into my body.

From what little I know, from a doctor in Canada and another in San Francisco (presumably others are out there, too), the procedure of fat transfer is fairly simple and has two physical benefits.     1) fat removed from your torso (stomach and sides) makes your torso more flat and makes your chest look more pronounced

2) fat injected into your thighs and hips and bum will make your body shape look more feminine
Apparently, the fat grafts last for a long time but, like cheek fat grafts or breast fat grafts, some fat will be absorbed by your body

I will inquire into cost and recovery time and share it with the forum

My daughter in law had breast reconstruction surgery using fat transfer for one of the breasts.  Not sure yet how it turned out, but it is not a rare procedure for that purpose.  I had a mini fat transfer into my cheeks and lips during FFS and had no problems and pretty good results.  They say that you end up with around 60-70% of the volume of the original transfer.  Many cosmetic surgeons do fat transfer for hips and butts.  They are not some of the volume money doctors in Florida.  That being said, it is a tricky procedure so pic a good well known doctor.

I would love to do breast fat transfer to kill two birds with one (or two) procedure.

Need to wait 18 months or so......
