Congratulations!  :)

And yes, for me it literally felt like a kick in the nether regions...not surprisingly.

Thank everyone for all the well wishes I appreciate it  :)

Quick question, so day one of my recovery in did the first inspection. I have a mid line incision about a half inch long and it is sealed with surgical skin glue to prevent infection and it coming undone. Now around the incision around the the wound itself is a small hematoma that just looks like a blot of ink if like a pen exploded in a pocket. I assume this is normal? I read to check for hematoma but I'm assuming cause for concern would be if the entire scrotum is like that? Just wanna make sure that I'm not blowing something off I should get treated. My only pain is in the canal region I believe he told me he tied the spermacidal cord off.

Thanks for any answers that come in  :)

Basically you're only concerned if there's fresh red (not dark) blood, extreme pain, or any foul smells.

Speedy healing!

Day 3 update

No pain at all in the scrotum itself. The dark purple around incision hasn't gotten any bigger. I have pain along both inguinal canals and on palpation there extremely swollen and I can feel a buldge under the skin. Walking for long periods of time is painful in that region.

I'll post it here because I don't want to start a new thread. So I'm feeling fine no more pain etc. I know my doctor said specifically no intercourse for a month. Does that include a hand? I kinda wanna test if things work down there but don't know how long I should wait. To me intercourse is penetrartion but perhaps everything falls under that general definition?

Thank you so much :) had my follow up doc says I'm healing perfectly and the chances of any complications are completely gone. He told me to do whatever I want and let pain be my guide if it hurts don't do it so at least I can try to excercise again.

Be a good example of good behavior.  Always be kinder than needed.  Be tender to others.  You are as beautiful as the thoughts you think and the words that your speak.   Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding.  Knowledge and action shown without love is not impressive.  If you look for the good in people you will find it. Healthy relationships are so important to good living.  Serve others.

Good living, joy, unity, love, and happiness can come from following these practices: Never let selfishness or conceit motivate you.  Regard others as more important than yourself.  Do not limit attention to only your interests, but include the interests of others
