Walking

Does anyone else like walking for exercise and to simply take in the scenery?

It is delightful to see the birds, water trickle in the creek, frozen water bodies, lavish greenery at times of the year, falling leaves, fish wiggling in a stream, animals crawling up and down trees, butterflies... I can go on and on!

I also love to walk. I do it almost every day unless I went for a run instead.

I live near a creek that right now is gurgling alternately under and over the ice. I follow that a short distance to the Garden of the Gods and walk up past Balanced Rock. I am so lucky to live in all this scenery, but then it's not an accident I live here. I made the choice when I graduated from college.

Yes indeed, particularly when there is not 4 feet of snow on the ground I can be found walking every day.   My home is located 2+ miles out of town so I frequently walk to work and back.
 
In  the warmer months I do a lot of hiking on the nearby trails, walking, running and jogging frequently, and I participate in charity walks and runs... and also at least once in the summer I enter marathons and half-marathons.

Walking around in my rural and nearby out-of-town areas gives me the opportunity to view the beautiful scenery that nature provides.

Well it's quite darn cold out for that right now plus snow XD
But on a normal bases, sure I like it. I prefer trails by a river or in the mountains, but just walking down the street for excersize...no. Perhaps if I didn't live in a shell all the time I'd be more up for it though.
