Topic: Anyone like to build puzzles?

Ladies,

Anyone else like to build puzzles? I love all sizes. My biggest one is The Life 24000 piece puzzle. It was fun to build. I love the smaller ones too. They are relaxing to me. I get into what I call zombie mode.. lol

24000 pieces! Wow!
I'm working on a 2000 piece puzzle and feeling pretty challenged. How did you find a table big enough? Luckily, I had a LONG piece of cardboard to extend the coffee table I've taken over.
My puzzle is a Medieval painting with not many different colors, but lots of different characters. It's being a challenge, but tonight I got several pieces in place-- on the frame and on characters I'm building within.
My oncologist had a puzzle in his waiting room-- that's what got me going. I enjoyed the meditative aspect.

Dear Cady:
The biggest puzzle that I have worked on was 3700 pieces.... and it took me several weeks to finish it.
They can be fun to work on particularly on a cold Alaskan winter night sitting next to my fireplace.

I prefer the approximately 1000 to 2000 piece puzzles.... 
It is a great way to spend an evening, especially with a friend helping to work the puzzle.
