Uh oh, back again
« on: May 07, 2021, 06:40:09 am »
Hello Susans,

It's been many years since I was here last, but I have been here on and off since the mid 2000's.

I'm a post op trans(thewordwedontuseanymore) woman began my transition around 2 decades ago. It's been many years since I was here last and I have gone by many different names, none of which I can remember now. I was the most active in the SRS and post-op life forums, back in the day when we had some old school members on the site, whose names I can't remember either (my memory is terrible). Useful information, I know haha!

I hope to contribute these forums and especially to talk to other long term post op women about their vaginal care, as this information is so difficult to come by.

Have a great day!

Welcome back @OldSchool

   :)

Chrissy
Be a good example of good behavior.  Always be kinder than needed.  Be tender to others.  You are as beautiful as the thoughts you think and the words that you speak.   Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding.  Knowledge and action shown without love is not impressive.  If you look for the good in people you will find it. Healthy relationships are so important to good living.  Serve others.

Good living, joy, unity, love, and happiness can come from following these practices: Never let selfishness or conceit motivate you.  Regard others as more important than yourself.  Do not limit attention to only your interests, but include the interests of others

It is not usually about how fast you transition, it is about how well you transition.

If back in the day you were in other places besides here on-line, then we likely ran into each other in the past (and probably argued! ;) ) I was active on-line in a number of places back then.

I had my SRS back in 1997 but I don't really do much (or need to) for "maintenance". There are some long term post-ops around here now, but how many depends on how you define long term ;)

If you have a specific issue you need to address, hopefully someone will be able to help.

Haha no, not in person. By long term I mean long enough ago that I use the term SRS, not G+otherletters, but not quite 1990's long term hehe.

Maintenance for me is unfortunately still very much a reality, but it is what it is. My anatomy just is complicated, I suppose.
