From This Moment

(1/1)

MelissaAnn:
With my Unmasking songs have such a deeper meaning for me. Especially this one I'm about to talk about. A song by Shania Twain called From This Moment. It's such a beautiful love song that she wrote while watching a soccer game.

It's taken me a long time to embrace who I am and who the world saw me as. As we start our unmasking,  we tend to bury who we were as we alter our persona who we are meant to be.

After all we are who we are! We cannot deny our pasts. We have life experiences that do help define who we are today. For way to many years now I've been running away from my past. I wouldn't talk publicly about my past and things I've experienced. The things that make me unique and me. So many of us go from a form of hyper-masculinity to hyperfemininity! It's something that I did.
As I listened to this beautiful song written and preformed by Shania Twain today, I had the epiphany that the part of I've been denying is really a part of me... I dedicate this song to myself! After all it's because of who I was all my dreams have come true!

From this moment life has begun
From this moment you are the one
Right beside you is where I belong
From this moment on

From this moment, I have been blessed
I live only, for your happiness
And for your love, I give my last breath
From this moment on

I give my hand to you with all my heart
I can't wait to live my life with you I can't wait to start
You and I will never be apart
My dreams came true because of you

From this moment, as long as I live
I will love you, I promise you this
There is nothing, I wouldn't give
From this moment on

You're the reason I believe in love
And you're the answer to my prayers from up above
All we need is just the two of us
My dreams came true because of you

From this moment, as long as I live
I will love you, I promise you this
There is nothing, I wouldn't give
From this moment, I will love you
As long as I live from this moment on
