Most every day when my friend is in town. More Purple more better character sheet is behind a paetreon wall but it is worth the 1 month to get the sheet. It is a steep learning curve to get the sheet working but when you do it's great.

I started playing in 1989 just as 2nd edition was being released. Since then I've played on and off with various groups. I've had a dry spell for the last year and a half. I came out to the group of friends I was playing. Over the next few months everyone kind of came with excuses why they couldn't play so disbanded. Then I found out they had created another chat group without me and had been gaming. Apparently they didn't like the fact that I was trans.

Yeah, the sad part is we had been friends for years and we started gaming when I invited them all to my house to play. Coming out to friends has been a regret for me. I really do miss playing the game.

I haven't tried playing on line, but I know there are a lot of campaigns out there.

I’m late to the party….

I play every Tuesday night, 2.5 with a great DM the game has been going on since 1999. When I lived out of town, I would schedule my business trips so I could play.

Had a 5E game Wednesday. I ran a vampire game then we would D&D. I was also in a 5E game Saturdays but it was too much with my other board games. So I dropped the Wednesday and Saturday games.

I always wanted to but couldn’t find anyone willing until a few years ago.  But by then I was too busy.

Maybe one day I’ll find both the time (which I am still short on) and a group willing to teach me.  Funny thing is that I recently bought a couple of D&D cards of a character named Kerisis.  I got them because he supposedly got his gender flipped by a cursed belt and since they were cheap I had to buy them.

I have played since the early 80's.. not so much now... but I always stuck to the original D&D never went to the advanced route.. I have all the 80's set's upto immortal. Those are the ones in boxes.
In the early 2000's I worked in a bookstore, and used to run a 'public' game every week.. anyone who was interested could join in (we had pre-made character sheets).. and wow, that was fun, the variety of people who got involved was awesome.
My true love is fantasy wargaming.. Warhammer in particular. But D&D will always have a place in my heart.

Hi Sarah, that's when I pretty much took it up and still have all my D&D stash somewhere in the garage.  I also had a huge collection of FF books from Ian Livingstone and Steve Jackson but I sold them all eventually.
