Urgent need advice (German system)
v_7:
Hello folks,
I'm really desperate right now. I found out for myself that this is not the right path for me. Briefly about me, I went through the VPÄ (Name and gender change) in 2020 (did not take any hormones).
I have never handed in or changed my passport or any other documents.
My question now is: is this still valid?
I will enter a country that has much stricter laws (you can probably guess - C). I have to get a visa now. Can I use my pass?
I desperately need your help!
Can I file an urgent application + legal aid? Would it be possible to go through this in a month - max 2? :(

Hallo Leute,

Also what shall I do. In Germany it is really complex :(
I would need "Prozesskostenhilfe" which is finanical support which might take months and months. I would be unable to do my job :(.
Without financial support such name and gender change (to go back to it) will cost 10 000 Euros but it would be much faster than waiting for financiacal support (which is also not 100% guaranteed). I
I do not have the money as currently unemployed and no savings. :( I just don't know what to do. I think a goandfundme would not be appropriate and it would be really embarassing for me. I could just start crying (I am actually right now) because I might not be able to do this job. I only graduated two years ago and it is only my second job. :''''((((

Hi v_7
Maybe you would like to read in this thread, it is specific for Germans: https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/board,523.0.html
I also recommend that you inquire directly with the authorities in your place of residence, this is the only way to get the exact answers and information you really need.
Best wishes
Margrit

Hello, thanks a lot for replying.
Yes, i decided to go tmrw to the institution.
Does anybody in this forum know if when applying for a visa, the authorities of the country that you are going to are checking your birth certficiate or just the general data in the system?

Hi v_7
That's a good decision to get the information from the competent authority directly. Fist hand Information are always best.
An other possibility would be to contact the authority for whom the Visa will be.
It is always very important to handle all this this stuff the absolutely proper way, because this guys have really no sense of humor.
Best wishes
Margrit
