Getting clocked as trans when dressed as male

Has anybody out there been clocked by people I le as.trans when you were essentially in guy mode? Yesterday I was sitting g in my truck with a fox racing beany,my Grey and black plaid flannel mid back length hair and face shaven with 5 o clock shadow,yet I was still c lo credit as trans with no makeup my hair wasn't styled I don't get it.I even had people call me a freak again when dressed as male no beanie a flannel or tshirt.Are people this transphobic that they are looking for someone who even looks like they could be? It makes me question if these people are really trans but can't stand to see others be themself.Nothing about me screams transgender, I get clocked almost daily.Only thing I can think of is my lower face and jaw are kinda feminine, lip shape,high cheekbones rounded jawline and chin.Anybody else experience this? As much as I can be strong,it does still upsetting to know how the society we live in is so cruel.

I'm really sorry you're getting this type of response from people. I get "clocked" as transgender pretty much every day. The details of my interactions, though, are much different than yours. I'm usually getting the "no problem, ma'am" or "that'll be $13.42, ma'am" from strangers. Sometimes I get a few questioning looks where people don't know which way to go, but that's completely understandable. At no point has anyone been purposely mean about it. It's more like they are noticing that my preference is female even though I'm dressed as male, and they are trying to be nice.
Where do you live? I'll make sure I don't ever move there. Is it possible that the "micro" locations you are choosing to be are the problem? (i.e., don't hang out at the monster truck rally or at the gun show).
As much negativity as you hear about Texas being non-supportive, I really believe people here are pretty nice. I haven't had anyone be ugly to me yet, and I'm pretty visible out there.

I get very little negativity from others too. I been ma'amed a few times in male mode. My mannerisms may be what causes me to be read correctly in these cases. I do run into cases of people intentionally sir me in female mode to be mean and not inadvertently. You can usually tell in these cases.

I live in Monterey california.I don't get it,it is a mostly liberal area with a small percentage being conservative.This area votes blue.i have had 5 incidents at least in about a week,week and a half.I had the person yell frea in from across a parking lot,a guy was checking me out for a sec. Then clocked me stared for 5 seconds walked away,I had a guy drive by and whistle(possibly in sarcasm I'm not sure,and yesterday a cis woman walked up to get a good look laughed and proceeded to enter Carl's jr.Also had a Christian lunatic walk up to my truck and yell towards it,"Satan stay away from me!" That pissed me off like seriously people have problems.Thankyou for your support.since I have come out to myself and my mom,I have seen a few transformed here and I would like to talk to them and ask how they're experiences are.Im getting to hate people,and questioning if I want to transition,even though I know I want to.Ive also learned from youtubeers that trans people are some of the most chill cool people around
