Veterans Day celebrates the service of all US military veterans,

while Memorial Day honors those who have died while in military service.

Another military holiday that also occurs in May, Armed Forces Day, honors those
currently serving in the US military.

I'll be attending the Remembrance Day observance downtown on Sunday. There was a moment of silence at work today.
