Im just a regular girl.

I just want to have regular girl friends to talk about and do regular girl things. I used to tell people that when i was a kid. There never was a time when I wasnt aware of who i was, but i learned better and seemed to forget why? Then, I told my wife, and I lost everyone. Without them, ive forgot to go on pretending. i feel like im reverting to my natural state. I came out to an aquaintence, she said, "Id support you if you want to pretend to be a cat". Thats "acceptance". Im more interested in understanding.

You have arrived at a wonderful place here to find the understanding you seek! All of our paths are unique but, we are all bound together by many common threads!… I would love to hear more about where you are right now with all this stuff and… where you see yourself going with all this stuff! Hi Tabi,

Welcome to Susan's! 

I think we are all in pretty much the same pink canoe, we only want to live out our lives authentically.  I would imagine most on here are like myself in that the goal is to be just another female in the crowd. 

I encourage you to swing by the Member's Blog area, that is where most of the girl chat happens.  Don't hesitate to start your own blog too!

Tabi, what do mean by "regular girl things"? I meet with girlfriends nearly everyday, but I don't think that our topics and activities are girly. We just goof each other. Sometimes we dive deep, but it's mostly laughter.

Tabi, the women I befriend like to laugh. I realize that some women like to gossip. Some like to shop. Many like to drink. Some enjoy pity parties, but I don't run with those packs. We only to get to circle the Sun so many times and I choose to enjoy the ride.
