Danielle, in a prior post, listed, among other things, the importance of "movements and motion."

I identified a fellow trans-woman yesterday at the grocery store on her movement. She had a stiff and purposeful stride that drew my attention. Then I saw other markers, but it was her gait that drew my attention. Danielle also mentioned clothing and she wore a summer-weight dress in the winter. The dress alone would draw attention, but the flimsy fabric marked her as new to womanhood.

O&C,

That makes sense, wise and observant one.

Karen_A:
My transition was long ago ... started down the path in 1994.

What surprised me most pleasantly early on was when I started getting taken as female when presenting male...

The unpleasant was later discovering that I  was never able to get to where I could count on always being seen as female no matter how I presented.
