I need your help once again!

Susan:
With the rising gas and food prices donations and subscriptions have been declining. This means I am not making enough to even cover the monthly bills and have seen the emergency funds steadily deplete.

I am down to under 1 month’s of funds to cover the bills for Susan’s Place in the bank. That means unless things change we will likely go dark on February 14, when the power is shut off. I have needed to ask for your help for the last 3 months, but I have put it off until it’s not possible for me to continue to do so. The level of stress I am under about paying the site’s bills is going to lead me to an early grave!

This site has been standing up and out shouting to a hostile world we exist, we will not go quietly away. Don’t let that much needed scream fade away. 

For Trans people by being here we provide representation! We tell the people who need it the most that you are not alone, you are loved, you have worth, that you are valid.  Don’t let that source of support be lost.

In 5 days it will be my 51st birthday, this year also marks 27 years running Susan’s Place. For well over half my life I have been dedicated to providing support to the transgender community, and I would like to challenge the members to raise $3,000 to keep this site running, to keep the support and the love available to those who need it! I can’t do it without you!

If you can, I need you to step up. Please, please, please step up and donate to support the continued operation of this web site. Anything will help! As it is it can’t continue to run without you!

I have been a member here for nearly six years. I do not typically make donations to anyone, except for Susan's Place. Why? Because this site saves lives, and I feel a true connection to its mission and the people here. We are members of a unique, beautiful, and vulnerable tribe. Susan's Place is the light which helps us find our way through the darkness. I realize not everyone can afford to donate, and no one should ever feel an obligation to do so. However, if you have some 'extra' funds which are looking for way to help others, please consider making a donation. Thank you.
