Vaginal adhesions

My wife is 73 and had surgery for a limited depth vagina in 2019.   She has been doing fine. Her primary care doctor says the vagina has adhesions and the inner labia are fusing together.  Has anyone had this experience?

I have not had this complication, but some women do and it is usually caused by not enough dilation.

You said that she has limited depth vaginalplasty. How much depth does she have? Enough for any dilation? Dilation is the primary treatment for vaginal adhesions.

If dilation is totally not possible, then maybe surgical intervention could help. This situation requires a medical examination to determine what is going on and determine possible treatments. Not exactly something anyone can do from an internet forum.
