hairs cut.

sigflup:
Got my hair cut today. I generally wear my hair over my forehead because I have a guy's forehead. I don't pass well when it's exposed. So anyway, I always get nervous that the hair stylist knows I'm trans because of this, they can see my forehead. They were nice today. Does getting your hair cut while trans make you anxious too?

Maid Marion:
I've been trimming my hair for the past few years.  It has been five years since I last had it cut.

No, but because I've always just told my hairdressers that I'm transgender and want a female style, not unisex or male.

I was really anxious the first time, but she was nice and very accepting. Amy is still the only person who has ever cut my hair since I became Jessica. You would probably be more comfortable if you can find a stylist you trust and stick with them if possible.

This is why partly I grew my hair out when started transitioning, I grew my hair down to waist before I had the guts to have my hair cut into a more female style. The reason for the cut was actually because the long hair was heavy and was getting uncomfortable and it took a long time to blow dry.

I never told the lady I was trans, but she treated me like a lady and I got a nice style. These days, I keep my hair around shoulder blade length, I like my hair long.
