According to my last.fm its Aimee Mann. -- and I don't 'go' to concerts, but am going to hers in a few weeks...

But I'd have to say probably anything by Bill Leeb and Rhys Fulber (Delerium, Conjure One, Frontline Assembly, Synaesthesia, Noise Unit, Fauxliage, and whatever other side projects they're working on).  Also the clones and soundalikes:  Balligomingo, Lunascape, October Project, Sleepthief, Zero 7, Morcheeba

I'm also a sucker for a well-crafted pop song.  Ingrid Michaelson, Sara Bareilles, La Oreja De Van Gogh, Lenka, The Lightning Seeds, Erasure, Men Without Hats, The Cars...
Cheers!

Agalloch.

In my opinion they are amazing, they blew me away when I first listened to them and they still do now. My favourite album is The Mantle.

It would be a tie between Faith No More and System of a Down. Two bands I thought were stupid when I first heard them (Even thinking that only idiots could like them), but grew to love them.

I'll probably put Faith No More a bit higher, only because I saw them live at the start of the year, and if I were only able to remember one concert, I would pick it.

Interesting thread.  My musical tastes are eclectic in nature.

For me, I think Cher's album "The Best of Cher".  Which is funny because I hated the album.  Whenever my ex got drunk, which was a lot, she would play it and I knew that hell was about to rain down.

But I also like Modern Country ( Brad Paisley and Kenny Chesney ), Big Band Swing and the 80s rock.

In my humble opinion:

Some people can deny it all they want; however, The Beatles were the greatest group in rock history ... hands down ... bar none ... beyond dispute. They towered over the 1960s like a colossus. I know. I was there. EVERY rock artist since then owes them an overwhelming debt of gratitude. They were the Bach, the Beethoven, the Mozart of our times. They influenced society beyond measure. Their overarching theme was love in a world sorely lacking it. Thank you, John, Paul, George and Ringo. May our souls ever soar with yours ... because of you. Your gift to us is beyond measure. Our gratitude to you is boundless. We, the peaceniks of the world, honor you and your message still. Thank you.

Peace    :)   Lacey

Dude!  Incubus kicks!  My stepdaughter is/was majorly into them.  She really liked Slipknot, Korn and System of a Down.  I must admit, I like 'em all ... great stuff!  Admittedly, these bands are after "my time."  Yes, I'm a museum-piece who is altogether and thoroughly content in her antiquarianism.  If ignorance is bliss, then consider me the happiest person around ... Wahoo!  If a song is modern, I don't wanna know about it!

Like the song says ...

Yeah, Serj is great. I was annoyed System of a Down broke up, but Serj's solo career makes up for it. I think I'm in the minority with that opinion though.

Faith No More did 3 nights of warm-ups for the last tour at my usual theater.  Huge deal.  (kinda like Santana or The Dead, where the entourage is almost as big as the theater).   Awesome.  Their shows are real shows - i.e. they are performers not just musicians.  Their drummer was in two nights ago to see Zakk Wylde and Black Label Society.

I think I'm in the minority with that opinion though.
Most likely I like his stuff, but SoaD were killer.

Old Sir Paul rocked the baseball park this summer playing a straight-solid three hours, pretty much nothing but hits.  His stage presence is still on like a light.  Songs like Helter-Skelter, Jet, Paperback Writer, Day Tripper, Live and Let Die and the absolutely show stopping Got To Get You Into My Life, well, you should have been there.  (no, really you should have, word has it that this was his last tour.)

FNM at the Warfield here (and it really impresses me when bands play different sets from night to night, few do - hell most have the set list laminated and plastered to all the equipment.)
