I served in the USAF before my
college years 2004 - 2008 much of the time at Lackland AFB in Texas primarily
assigned to the Air Education and Training Command (AETC)

Still serving.  January 1978 to date.

Already answered poll as retired Navy last year.  Saw that DoD civilian was added:  Started off in Submarines (SSBN635 Gold Crew); changed rate, Naval Security Group seconded to NSA; then Contractor USCG; followed by Contractor USAF 15 years; Gov't AF civil service now 6 years.

Still mtf nightmare in today's service too.

detailed your service on the various Navy ships and your training as a Sonar Technician Submarines
and Cryptologic Technician Interpretive (Linguist)
