Very few things as inspiring as taking the oath of office to defend the Nation against all enemies foreign and domestic. So appropriate in these times of rioting, looting, and random violence.

Thank you for your service as well (there's a few other Navy vets here, myself included).

"I am a Veteran, as are most of my personal friends. A Veteran is someone, who at one point in their life, wrote a blank check payable to the United States of America for an amount up to, and including, their life. Regardless of personal or political views, there are way too many people in this country who no longer remember that fact..."

Wow, I never expected that this forum would have so many veterans, glad I found it though.

I am not a veteran (yet haha), currently serving in the Canadian Navy, been in for about a year and half. I am not really doing anything interesting because I have had a psychotic break due to my dysphoria (that was the lowest point of my life) so I have some preety harsh medical restrictions.

But I am looking forward to eventually sail and actually do my job haha

I have some good trans friends who are actively serving, one in the RCN (in Esquimalt), and one in the RCAF.

I hope you are able to get past your medical issues and do the work you want to do.  Thank you for your service.

Hey, Cosmina, thanks for everything you do. :)
