Hello everyone !!!
Today i signed up to this forum,because i am going to ask about my gender. i'm 17. And my biological sex is male. But i think my gender isn't male. On the Internet it is said that transgender people from childhood behave like people of the opposite sex. But in my chidhood i didn't behave like a girl. It have started when i was 13. But i was afraid to wear up women's clothes,and doing make-up. Because where i'm living isn't tolerant. But now i crossed my fears. I feel that i I should have been born a girl. That feeling hurts me. Main question is Am i a transgender ??? Because till 13 i hadn't thought about it. Or it just my ravings ???

Questioning your gender can come at different ages or stages in your life. Puberty has a dramatic effect on all of us and all of us are unique in how we respond.
I suggest seeking counseling, possibly through school or your doctor, to help you find the answers you need to find who you are. Youth centers should have information that can help find groups or others that share your thoughts.

Welcome to Susan's Place. We have member on the site who are just realizing they are transgender in their 50's and 60's so there is nothing magical about age. Yes some do know at age 3 or 4 but many discover it somewhat latter. I was also age 13 but only in hindsight didi I realize I exhibited feminine traits much earlier. It might be best if you looked at the "the transition channel" (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfO3B57E6NpIn-KsVjvmLLw) if you really want to know if your transgender. The information is pretty much up to date and it has helped many answer their questions. If you have additional questions, feel free to ask them here.

Hey don't worry!
Other than a few occasional (dismissed) thoughts, I've only just started to realise my identity and I'm still not sure myself! Just because some people say that you aren't transgender, doesn't mean your not! It's what you feel you are that matters whether you realise now, as a toddler, or 70 years in the future all that matters is that you know and are happy with who you think you are! Good luck!
